I have started getting some edits together for an upcoming gig where I have been asked to play original material and edits that I have personally done. These are 2 of the first that I have ready, I have tried to keep them as simple as possible, with just an extended intro outro and both have links to high quality 320bit downloads.
We return again with another of the themed mixes, this one is another 2 of my favorites, the very under rated Mark the 45 King v's the much celebrated (for very good reason) Diamond D the Psychotic Neurotic! 70 minutes of obscurities, some classics and some very rare releases, as usual all rcorded live off of vinyl and with a few minor technical difficulties (a needle kept skipping on one side).free download for those of you that are into that kind of thing,

Another long week of work means another week with out any mixes getting done, fortunately I had this mix from fellow Decades member 2Biz aka dj originalbogandrunkenmasterpiratelaughter. I have been meaning to share this one for a while, it starts and finishes with tracks from the Warriors and has tracks from John Robinson and J Rawls, Jazz Liberatorz, Damian Marley, The Roots and heaps more ( I particularly like the John Legend version of Our Generation which is a cover of Ernie Hines Our Generation a powerful and funky soul track famously used for Pete Rock and C.L Smooth's Straighten It Out. This version even features C.L on the Mic just to add that special touch!)
and bonus beat A quick remix i put together of Pete Rock & C.L Smooth's Its A Love Thing
an old mix i made back in 2003 or 2004 its not great sound quality due to the fact that the program i was using at the time used to crash when i bounced down large files, so i merged files instead, but this cased it to compress the crap out of the sounds
